1. Scope

This policy describes how Difflane may collect, use, disclose, retain, and otherwise process personal information in connection with its services. Different or additional terms may apply where required by law or presented for a particular offering.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with Difflane, we may collect identifiers, contact and account information, content and communications you provide, preferences, transaction information, and other information you choose to submit or make available.

We may process device, browser, network, request, and security information necessary to operate and protect Difflane. We may also receive information from third parties you choose to use with Difflane, including account, authorization, transaction, and interaction information.

3. How we use information

We may use information to provide, operate, personalize, maintain, support, secure, monitor, analyze, improve, and develop Difflane; communicate with you; authenticate users and transactions; prevent misuse; enforce terms; comply with law; protect rights and safety; and pursue other purposes disclosed when information is collected or permitted by law.

4. How we disclose information

We may disclose information to service providers, professional advisers, affiliates, counterparties, and others that help operate or support Difflane; to services or people you direct or authorize; to comply with law or protect rights, safety, security, and integrity; in connection with a financing, reorganization, transfer, or sale; with your consent; or as otherwise permitted by law.

5. Processing and storage

Information may be processed on your device, by Difflane, or by service providers, depending on the services and settings involved. Processing and storage locations, methods, and providers may change over time.

6. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy or otherwise permitted by law. Retention may depend on the nature of the information, the services involved, our relationship with you, and legal, security, operational, accounting, and dispute-resolution needs. We may delete or deidentify information when it is no longer needed.

7. Security

We use safeguards designed to protect information, but no system, transmission, storage method, or security measure is guaranteed to be completely secure. You provide information and use Difflane at your own risk.

8. Choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights regarding personal information. We may need to verify a request and may deny or limit requests where permitted by law. Choices may also be available through settings or third-party services you use. Restricting processing may limit or prevent access to Difflane.

9. Children

Difflane is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn that we have done so, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

10. International processing

Information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use measures intended to support lawful transfers.

11. Changes

This policy is subject to change. We may update it at any time. Changes apply prospectively when posted or on a later stated date, subject to any notice or consent required by law. The effective date identifies the current version.
